Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist?
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who diagnoses mental disorders and can prescribe medication. Psychologists and psychotherapists work with talking methods, without medication. Combining the two often works best.
Can I see a psychiatrist online from abroad?
Yes. Consultations are online, so your city or country does not matter. Times on the site are Kyiv time; you pay with any bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What language are consultations in?
Consultations are held in Ukrainian.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Your medical record is stored encrypted and only your doctors can open it. Emails, calendar events and notifications never contain diagnoses or what you talked about.
This is not emergency care. If you have suicidal thoughts or your life is in danger, call 112 or your local emergency number. In Ukraine: 103 or Lifeline Ukraine 7333.
